A Dating Service For Authors to Meet Publishers

A couple of months back I posted about pairing editors and authors. Protagonize’s Nick Bouton pointed me to AdHack.com. “Similar concept in a different vertical,” Nick said. I have now discovered Build It With Me that does a real slick job of matching designers with developers. You can browse by both ideas and by people. My idea for the site’s developer — Drew Wilson –  is a writer/author version please.

Your post title = an excellent idea. We at The Workhorsery are tired of looking for authors in the bar scene. As a publisher, we’re as comfortable in a pair of jeans as we are in a tuxedo. We’re D/D free, aren’t into head games and are looking to settle down with the right author(s). So if you’re Canadian and you’ve written a super-fun novel you’d like to get published, why don’t you hit us up with it before we have to resort to having our mothers set us up with “that nice author that lives down the street” from them? http://theworkhorsery.ca/TheWorkhorsery/SUBMIT.html
