Your post title = an excellent idea. We at The Workhorsery are tired of looking for authors in the bar scene. As a publisher, we're as comfortable in a pair of jeans as we are in a tuxedo. We're D/D free, aren't into head games and are looking to settle down with the right author(s). So if you're Canadian and you've written a super-fun novel you'd like to get published, why don't you hit us up with it before we have to resort to having our mothers set us up with "that nice author that lives down the street" from them? http://theworkhorsery.ca/TheWorkhorsery/SUBMIT.html
