BookNet Canada‘s Morgan Cowie captured the embedded interview with Carolyn Pittis — a recent attendee at Humber College’s publishing conference.The video runs 20 minutes but is quite engaging (besides the poor audio/video sync). Especially of interest was Carolyn’s perspective on author services. She is looking past traditional web design and advertising. She also has interesting things to say about Mike Shatzkin’s notion of publishing verticals.
