Dennis You Are Awesome. But I Didn’t Know It.
Ok. Here is the thing — the below comment isn’t meant to be snippy. I think this is wicked good. I also think it is a shame…

Last week I posted about a funny youtube video I saw on Michael Cairns’ site PersonaNondata. Michael “hat tipped” Peter Brantley. I credited Michael.
Since then I have seen the video everywhere. The fascinating thing (for me) was everytime it popped up in my reader it was attached to a different source.
Joe Wikert posted it. He credited reader Paul Mikos. Then poet Zach Wells posted it crediting Thirsty, via Russell Smith. Then Jon Evans sent it to Jen Evans. She posted it on Twitter then Ehren blogged it on the weekend.
I saw it four times before I realized the guy in the video is Dennis Cass, the author of Head Case (pictured right).
Dennis has a viral success on his hands. It is a shame the video doesn’t throw to his blog or his book (new or old). Just give me a title card with more information about you! A missed opportunity for sure and a great takeaway for other marketers.
For the record, 131 people have blogged about this vid to date. According to Technorati Bella Stander was the first. Gawker is likely the biggest.
Best of luck to Dennis in his quest to be more awesome. That is on my todo list as well.
