Hey Everybody, Opt Out By May 5th So You Can Sue Google Yourself
A legal notice was in the Globe and Mail print edition today that warned Canadian authors and publishers who publish in the USA that the deadline to opt out of the class action suit against Google for Book Search is May 5th. Not surprisingly http://www.googlebooksettlement.com/ isn’t indexed very well in Google search results, but not for the reasons that you would think. The brain trust at Rust Consulting didn’t hire a very good web designer.
I wonder what will become of legal notices as the newspaper business moves to the web?
