Put This On is hosted by NPR’s Jesse Thorn with help from Lonelysandwich. Thoughts:

1. Journalists doing side projects funded by Kickstarter. Yes.
2. Esquire or GQ should have launched a show like this in 2006.
3. Not launching a show like this in 2006 is why Esquire and GQ and Conde Nast are struggling in 2009.
4. Sydney — from Sydney’s Tailors at 795 Queen W Toronto, M6J 1G1 — should be given a book and put on television. He could be to men’s tailoring what Bourdain is to cooking or Holmes is to construction. That is unless The Put This On guys beat him to it.
