SWIPE Books is Moving Too
When I saw the For Sale sign in the window at Swipe Books on Richmond Street west, I got worried. Then shortly after that the Sold sticker went up. I started to panic. Then this sign went up
Turns out SWIPE is moving not closing. They are off to 401 Richmond West at the beginning of May (just down the street). Happy to hear it although they won’t have street frontage.
It has been musical chairs in independent land lately. I will miss Ballenford. But suddenly the west side is where it is at. There are now 3 bookstores on Roncevalles and two more stores just moved to this side of Spadina. Good times and good luck.
