Which Dan Gardner Concept is Better?
Reading Wired this month, I learned the author of Risk — Dan Gardner — is a Canadian journalist. Didn’t know that. Also didn’t know the US folks changed the title and cover. I have seen Risk in the bookstores. I wasn’t interested in it until I saw the US edition. I think the US concept works better. Although the US edition risks being lost in a book store — like Indigo — that doesn’t have a social sciences section. This thing would be a goner if it was shelved in Science.
Chapters.Indigo.ca is seemingly picking up both editions as if they are separate books. The US edition is here. The international edition is here. The two aren’t connected. Any votes one way or the other?
